FULLTIME is a musical project which was born in 2005 from the mind of two roman beatboxers, EMOS and BB...

FullTime - Volume 1 (Promo Mix) by Dutrarec

Both music lovers, particularly hip hop and electronic music, they decided to combine their musical experiences and beatboxing skills to create a live show that's one of a kind.

Their performances are full of sounds of all kinds, drum, scratches, synth, bass, remixes of popular tracks, ranging from one genre to another: from hip hop to drum  & bass, reggaeton, techno music, all of this by only using the microphone.

In a few years time, they get to perform in many famous clubs in Rome and around Italy, playing side by side to international artists such as A-TRACK, DIPLO, VICARIUS BLISS, DROP THE LIME, CYBERPUNKERS... and italian ones such as DEEPSESSION crew, FRANK SENT US, DANNO (Colle der Fomento), Gente de Borgata, Quarto Blocco, Brokenspeakers... just to name a few.

EMOS and BB real soon decide to bring their ideas, and most of all their sounds, to a recording studio, working with a professional sound technician, DANIEL DUTRA.
From that moment on, they worked on their first record, FULLTIME VOL. 1

It's a 8 track cd that shows their ability fully in detail.

Three of them are totally instrumental (The Flow, Sunday, Get Down Baby), while three other feature famous italian rappers, DANNO & DJ BARO, SUPREMO 73 & IL TURCO (GDB), and LU CIOSA. Get Down Baby remix has been produced by NHB, talent of the italian techno scene, while the last track, Bloody Time, for which they also shot a video, was completely recorded live, including sound effects.

FULLTIME e’ un progetto musicale nato nel 2005 dall’unione di due human beatboxer romani, EMOS e BB.

Entrambi amanti e cultori della musica, in particolare dell’hip hop e dell’elettronica, decidono di unire le loro

esperienze musicali e doti di beatboxing per proporre un live-show unico nel suo genere.

Le loro esibizioni sono cariche di suoni di batteria, scratch, synth, bassi, remix di brani famosi e suoni di ogni tipo, spaziando da un genere all’altro: dall’hip hop alla drum & bass, dal reggaeton alla techno, usando

esclusivamente il microfono.

In pochi anni riescono a esibirsi in molti famosi locali della capitale e in giro per l’Italia avendo l'onore di suonare al fianco di artisti internazionali come A-TRACK, DIPLO, VICARIUS BLISS, DROP THE LIME, CYBERPUNKERS e artisti italiani come DEEPSESSION crew, FRANK SENT US, DANNO (Colle der

Fomento), Gente de Borgata, Quarto Blocco, Brokenspeakers, etc ...giusto per citarne qualcuno.

I ragazzi decidono ben presto di portare le loro idee, e soprattutto i loro suoni, in studio di registrazione, affidandosi al producer e fonico professionista DANIEL DUTRA. 

E’ da qui che nasce il loro primo lavoro, FULLTIME VOLUME 1.

Un cd di 8 tracce che dimostra dettagliatamente le loro capacita’. 

Tre brani totalmente strumentali (The Flow, Sunday, Get Down Baby), altri tre vedono la partecipazione di famosi rapper italiani, DANNO & DJ BARO (COLLE DER FOMENTO), SUPREMO 73 & IL TURCO (GDB) e il giovane LU CIOSA.

Il remix di “Get Down Baby” è prodotto dai talenti della scena techno italiana, NHB.

L'ultima traccia, Bloody Time, di cui propongono anche il video, è totalmente registrata ed effettata live.
